Getting Crafty

I have been collecting Make It Crafty digital stamps for a little while now, but I have never actually gotten around to colouring them...until today.

I was feeling inspired and decided to make this card to celebrate Zoe's birthday.
The card uses both the Petals and Palings and Zoe Celebrates digital stamps.
Green and pink is my favourite colour combo at the moment again, I have reached for them a few times in the last week.

It was just a quick share today, I have a pile of other things I need to be doing.
Have a fabulous day.

Tiddly Inks Tuesday

Hi everyone and welcome to another episode of Tiddly Inks Tuesday.
This week there is another fabulous challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.
What is it you may ask!!  It is simple really, you have to use clear acrylic somewhere on your card or creation.
Think clear acrylic card, acrylic albums, even shrinky dinks count.

Here is what I cam up with using a square of clear acrylic, which I think may have been the front of an album.
I really wish I would have taken step by step photos, because I love the way this turned out.
I covered the clear acrylic with alcohol ink to create that gorgeous mottled effect.  I then backed the acrylic with book print and sponged around the edges with white paint to give it a frosted feel.
I then added all those beautiful embellishments, and of course the focus point of my project using the delightful Tiddly Inks image You and Me.

If you would love to play along with the fabulously fun challenge be sure to head over to the challenge blog for all the details and to see some more utterly creative projects from the rest of the Tiddly Inkers.

Thank you so much for stopping by today

Hi everyone.

If you missed it earlier this week, the Lime Tart September gallery was released.
I was blown away by the creativity of the design team this month, so many truly gorgeous creations to look at.
I decided to not make any layouts this month and just focus on cards with the very pretty A La Tarte.

Just Because - free standing pop-up card

Friends -I used the stamp on this card to make a gold embossed background.

Feeling a bit arty

If you are feeling a little bit arty, then this weeks challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog will be right up your alley.
This week's challenge is an art journal challenge - use mixed media to create an art journal feel to a card or project of any sort.
You may or may not remember the art journal that I made a while ago
Well it has been feeling very unloved with not many pages created in it.  So this challenge was a perfect chance for me to pull it out again and have a play.
Here is the very busy and bright page that I created in it using  Dandylion Pixie.
Good messy fun!
So if you are up for an arty challenge be sure to pop by the challenge blog for all the details and to be inspired by the rest of the teams AMAZING creations.
