Mr McJingles goes for a drive!

Let me start by saying that I love Peppy.

His kind yet cheeky ways are somewhat endearing. However sometimes he drives me up the wall!  He took that a little too far this morning, by driving himself up the wall.

I am not sure how the elves drive in the North Pole, but here in Australia in is not safe to drive without your seat belt on.  The little thing called gravity will get you every time.

Lucky his friends were there to try and help him out of his unfortunate mess.

I must say the girls had a good giggle at this one.

It gave me a good chuckle as well.  Fingers crossed tonight he will find himself in a much safer predicament.
Until next time

Peppy wants a hug!

Good morning everyone!

I woke up very tired this morning so I was happy to see that Peppy didn't make a mess like he did yesterday.  I can't tell you how many times I stepped on a marshmallow yesterday.  He definitely went a little crazy with that Angry Birds catapult.

So today things are a little more relaxed.
Peppy knew that the girls were desperate to play with him, and this morning they got their wish.

Santa Clause has granted them permission to play with him, but just for today.

Printable note from here.

They just have to remember to sprinkle the magic Christmas spice (aka cinnamon sugar) before they go to bed tonight so that his magic will return.

The girls were extremely happy to be able to play with their new little elf.  I am sure this resting will only lead to more mischief in the near future.

Until next time

Peppy's Target Practise

Good morning everyone.

Not long now until jolly old Saint Nick arrives.  Preparations are steaming along here.  But with 3 markets and a whole lot of appointments between now and the 25th, a clone of myself wouldn't go astray.

I am glad that we only have one elf in this house though!  Cheeky little Peppy got up to some more mischief last night.  He thought he would do some target practise in the kitchen with marshmallows.

There were marshmallows everywhere! They weren't limited to the bench either. They were on the floor, in the hat rack and one even made it to the front door!

Of course Peppy managed to hit the bullseye!

He is looking pretty pleased with himself, sitting up there on the rangehood with his Angry Birds slingshot.

I do however get a sense of tension between Mr McJingles and the Skylanders clan.  I hope this target practise isn't the start of something else brewing. Time will tell.

Hopefully his return tomorrow will be a little less messy, and a bit more calmer.

Until then

Peppy McJingles tries to help

Warning, this post has images of underwear!!!

Well the girls had a good giggle when they woke up this morning.  They went screeching through the house in their search for Mr McJingles.
What they discovered sent them into a fit of laughter.
For Peppy had tried to help with the housework last night.  He thought he was doing me a favour by hanging out the girls underwear...from a hot air balloon.

Oh Peppy you make me laugh.  What will you think of next!

Stay tuned for the next adventure of Peppy McJingles-Elf Reporter.

As for me I have a busy day of crafting and cooking ahead of me.  I best get started.
Have a wonderful day!

Peppy meets his housemates

Good morning everyone.

Well we didn't know what to expect when we woke up this morning.  What antics did Mr McJingles get up to during the night.  Thankfully this time it was pretty tame.  It appeared that he had a lovely quiet night mingling with his housemates. I must say, he is checking out Bloom the Winx Doll with a little too much twinkle in his eye.

Charlie the chef bear put on a wonderful spread of drinks and candy roll lollies.

Peppy must have become tired of telling all the toys what he was doing here.  So I assume he gave them the book with all his details to read instead.  The toys looked equally intrigued.
Emily thought this was pretty magical, since the book was on her bed when she fell asleep.

The girls wished that they could give Peppy one quick kiss and cuddle.  Tonight when he returns from his Elf reporting duties he may have to bring back a little bag of magic so they can cuddle him tomorrow.  Just once though.

I will be back tomorrow with the next installment of Peppy McJingles - Elf Reporter.
