Christmas Creations!

It is gallery release time again at Lime Tart!

I was so excited when I received the gorgeous Full Tart this month. It was filled with such beautiful festive colours that I just had to get into the Christmas spirit.

I started by making three layouts

This layout shows the kit isn't restricted to Christmas projects only

I still had supplies left so I then made a couple of cards

and a couple of tags

Would you believe I still had some supplies left, so I made this frame

and this wreath (the details for this wreath can be found on the Lime Tart blog here).

I was so inspired by this kit that I just wanted to keep on creating!! If you want some more inspiration be sure to check out the other gorgeous creations from the rest of the team in the December gallery.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Take care

Webster's Pages Note Book

I love December. It is always a great time to be inspired and get creative. There are so many wonderful classes and tutorials around that you can't help but participate. I felt particularly creative on the weekend and made a couple of little things. I decorated a 7 Gypsies Printer Tray as a gift for one of my sister in laws friends. I have to take some better photos of it before I can share it though.

I also have been playing along with the Week of Winter Wonderland over at Webster's Pages. I made this little note book for one of the challenges.

It uses the Life's Portrait papers. I was making this as a gift, but I am not sure if I want to give it away lol. The colours are so pretty.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have had a chance to feel creative as well.
Take care

Merry Christmas

Ok I know I am early, but the Christmas spirit has well and truly hit me this year.
I have been making lots of fun Christmassy things this past week. Not much I can share just yet but very, very soon.

One of the things I can share is the cute little Christmas tree that I made for my desk.

It is made using the Spellbinders Lacey Circles die and Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 6x6 paper pad, both from Lime Tart.

To see how I made this tree, check out my step-by-step post on the Lime Tart blog.

My Christmas shopping is done, I just have to wrap them. I still have a tonne of things to do before Santa arrives though. The girls and I are going to tackle a Gingerbread house today...wish us luck. I will be back soon with some more projects.

Take care

Another sneak peek

Here is a sneak peek of another layout I have made for Lime Tart.

I am not a person who uses a lot of sprays on layouts. I admire those people who do. But I do love the Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz that was in the December Full Tart. It gives a beautiful shimmer, and it sprays so perfectly.

The flower is another Tim Holtz Tattered Florals flower I have made. I love it too! I am full of love lately lol.

Anyway thanks for stopping by.

Another class creation!

This week has been wet and rainy here in Canberra. Perfect weather for creating. My motivation is starting to return, yay!

The other day I made this suede notebook cover from the Kim Archer Workshops@ home Handmade Christmas 2010 class. It is not very often that I make things for myself, but I do love my little notebook.

Another thing I love is my Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. Here are a couple of flowers that I have made with it.

This next one is made from some satin

I love my dies and punches lately. I could not live without them lol.
