Card creations..just a couple.

Hi everyone.
Thank you so much for stopping by my part of cyber space today.
I thought I would post a few little cards that I have made lately, but forgotten to share (sorry).

This first one was a card I made using Copics and acetate.
The full instructions on how I made it can be found here on the Lime Tart blog.
This second card uses the very sweet Bird Swing stamp from Whimsy Stamps.
Here is another Whimsy stamp called Wee Snippet.
Finally a card that I made a while ago using the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp Krista
I think I am almost up to date with sharing my cards.   There may be a few more yet though :)
I hope you are having a fabulous day.

Cheery Lynn Applique

It was my turn to do a step by step post for the Lime Tart blog this weekend.
I didn't have to look far for an idea, because my Cheery Lynn dies were on my desk.
I decided to try my hand at applique using the Judy's Blooms die.
I appliqued the fabric pieces directly onto my card.
Not being able to stop there, I then went on jazz up a couple of my girls singlets with various other dies.
If you would like to see the steps to how I created these projects, head over to the Lime Tart Blog for the full instructions.

While you are over at Lime Tart be sure to check out the April Gallery.  What the girls did with their kits this month was amazing.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I will be back again really soon.

Crafty kids!

Happy Easter everyone!!

I hope the Easter bunny found you all.  He certainly found my girls. Then again how could he resist when the following two Easter baskets were eagerly awaiting his arrival.

I must thank Better Homes and Gardens for this gorgeous Easter basket tutorial.

Kayla made a cute koala.  Don't you just love those fluffy white ears.
I was wondering what Emily was creating when she showed me her wild looking ears.  But it turns out that she was making Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.  Only Emily would make a Christmas themed basket for Easter LOL.
The girls did need some help making these baskets, especially when hot glue was involved. But the designs were all their own.  They  just pointed where they wanted something stuck and I glued it in place.
I just adore my crafty kids and their gorgeous creations.

Have a wonderful Easter break everyone.

I will hop back soon.

Easter hats!

Easter has hopped around very quickly this year, and soon the Easter Bunny will be hopping into our house and hopefully leaving a few chocolate goodies :)

But before then, we have the Easter hat parade at school.
Here are the two hats I have made for the girls.

Kayla's hat looks much prettier in real life, but here are a few pics of it.

I wanted to cut a bit of the tulle off it, but Kayla liked it like that.  Little poppet.

Here is Emily looking ever so sweet in her Easter hat.

The girls love their little hats, and they will probably wear them out over the next few days.
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

I will be back soon, hopefully with some more creating.
Take care
