Helllooooo everyone.
How are we all going on this lovely (yet extremely windy) weekend. We had planned to go to the park today for a bit of family fun, but alas Mr wind and rain decided that they would pay us a visit. Here's hoping tomorrow will bring a bit more sunshine. Not much news of late from our household. Although I did pick up the latest issue of Scrapbooking memories (Vol 11 No 7) to find that I have not 1 but 2 layouts in there (pages 78 and 135). Exciting (yay). Miss Kayla is so thrilled that she was in a magazine!!
A couple of things to show you tonight. The first is my project for Round 2 of the Scraptwist competition over at 123 scrapbook. The criteria was you had to use glitter (hmmmm) and embossing powders, with the twist of no flowers being allowed. So embossing and no flowers I could do, but glitter is just not my thing. I ended up with loose glitter everywhere except where it was supposed to be. I know I could have just used Kindyglitz or Stickles, but I don't really like making my life easy for myself lol. In the end I decided to make a mask. I completely covered it in UTEE and then stamped into it while it was still hot. I then added glitter (hmmmm) around the eyes (with a few naughty words slipping out in the process lol).
Not a bad result I thought.
Secondly is my take on this weeks sketch for Kaisercraft. I used the lovely Child's play Collection, and embellishments, as well as the Duchess stamps and freebie paper from the Q1 magazine.
I also made a card inspired from the sketch as well.
Well that's about it from me. Sorry for the lengthy post. My sister who I normally talk to daily is away, so I had to speak to someone.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take care

Hi everyone.
How has your week been so far? We have all been enjoying the beautiful weather. I put a pair of shorts on today for the first time in a while, I think my legs were almost blinded by the light. I know I was almost blinded by how white my legs were lol.
I promised you all that i would show you my first altered book (although I did say I would put it up yesterday oops). I created this for the first round of the Scraptwist Competition over at 123 Scrapbook. The criteria was that you had to use paint with a twist that all chipboard used had to be left raw. So this was the project that I made.
The cover
Inside the book
The photo doesn't show it very well, but there is a niche cut out of the book for the vials to rest in. I am really proud at how this tuned out, I love it. I definitely think I will be making more.
Well just a short post for tonight my friends I will be back soon with some more creations.
Take care

Hello everyone.
Two posts in two days, shock horror lol. Today I can proudly show you the Birdhouse that I made as one of my Kaisercraft projects. I fell in love with this birdhouse the moment I saw it and couldn't wait to get started on it. I used the divine Duchess papers (my favourite of the new Q1 releases), plus some Kaisercraft flowers, rhinestones and rub-ons. I love my little birdie house and I have it proudly hanging on my wall now.
If you receive the Kaisercraft "In the Know" newsletter it has the basic steps of how I created this project.
Talking about all things Kaisercraft, the wonderful people over there are running a competition at the moment to win a $60 card making pack. All you have to do is make a card using the sketch found here and email it off and you could win this wonderful pack. Good luck to all that enter.
Well that's about it from me today. I will pop back on tomorrow to show you all my first altered book. I love the way this turned out, so feel free to stop back and have a look.
Take care

Hellloooooo everyone.
I am so sorry that I have been MIA lately. It all began with my teeth starting to hurt, which evidently led to having my wisdom teeth being removed. The first couple of days I felt fine, but then on the third day I felt as though I had been knocked for a six. This may have had something to do with me racing around the house like a mad woman trying to get it ready for an inspection rather than resting. Funny things is the house was probably perfectly fine anyway, but once I got a bee in my bonnet that was it. Long story short...I paid for it with very sore teeth for the following 4 days. But now I feel fantastic, and i am ready to start creating and visiting all those blogs that I have missed the last few weeks.
Today i can show you a little project i have made for Kaisercraft. It is a little basket that i made to hold some seed packets. A cute little option for a spring time gift. If you would like the project sheet for this pop over to here and check it out. This basket uses the gorgeous Pennyroyale papers, diecut tag, Kaisercraft flowers, and pearls. I will be showing some more of my Kaisercraft creations as they are released, but for the time being this is all I can show you. I hope you like it :) In the mean time feel free to pop over to the Kaisercraft website or blog, and see some of the fantastic creations the other DT members have been making.
Anyway that is about it from me today. I will pop back on in the next few days to show you an altered book that I made (which I love to bits).
Have a great week everyone

Hi everyone.
How have you all been? It feels like ages since I have done a post. The past couple of weeks I haven't done alot of scrapbooking, I have had an almighty toothache which seems to have sucked all my creative energy away. But the good news is that this Wednesday I have been booked in to the surgicentre to have my last two troublesome wisdom teeth taken out. I can't believe I am actually looking forward to getting them done, but the thought of being toothache free sounds like bliss to me at the moment.
Today I can show you a couple of things I have done. The first is an altered wooden frame that I made a little while ago for A2Z Scraplets. It uses the chipboard photo frame, which I covered in Distress Crackle Paint.
Next is a layout that I made recently using the gorgeous Duchess papers from Kaisercraft.
Kaisercraft have also started a Sunday Scrap Space post on their blog. I put my hand up to go first because it is clean at the moment. So if you want to know what my scrap space looks like, pop on over to the Kaisercraft blog for a looksie. I have to warn you though it is not very stylish, but it does work for me :)
Anyway I hope you all have a great week, and I will be back soon, after my trip to the dentist.
Take care
