Hi everyone.
I hope you are all well and that your lead up to Christmas is going splendidly. Things are finally starting to slow down in this household, so I can start enjoying this time of year.
Christmas tree decorated...check
Christmas shopping done.....check
Presents made......check
Presents wrapped.....check
Presents sent......check
Visited Santa...check (I will share a photo when I get my scanner out)
Supplies bought for Christmas lunch ....not check...we can't be too organized now can we lol. I will be braving the crowds on Thursday to do that.
What else have I been up to. Well here are a few things I have been making of late.
These cards for a Christmas card swap
These door hangers for my Tuesday Tip last week over at the Kaisercraft Blog ( I have made one for Em too, but I was too lazy to take a photo).
And these felt cupcakes for a few very special ladies.
I also just realized I haven't shared my layouts from the Kaisercraft Q2 release. So here they are.
PACK YOUR BAGS COLLECTION
REWIND COLLECTION
BELLE COLLECTION
CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL COLLECTION
LILAC AVENUE COLLECTION
and my favourite of them all, THE DEAR SANTA COLLECTION
I don't think I have anything else to share at the moment. I plan to have a bit of a break and then get back into the swing of things after Christmas.
To all the wonderful, beautiful people that read my blog I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope this Christmas season treats you well, and that your New Year is filled with much love and happiness.
So from my family to yours
Have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
Take care

Good Morning everyone.
I hope the weekend treated you all well. How fast did this last week go. I don't know where it went. I had a million (okay maybe not a million) things I wanted to get done, and I don't think I even finished half of them lol. Christmas is always such a crazy time of year though, and had I been better organized I probably wouldn't be as rushed off my feet lol. Every year I say I will start things early, but does that ever happen......nope:) next year will be different though.....maybe.
So today I have a few 123 Scrapbook creations to share. The first few were for the Christmas cybercrop. Rather than do challenges for this cybercrop, we decided we would just show a few gifts that people could make.
My first project was this altered jar. Inside it has a packet of seeds, and although it doesn't show clearly, some dragonflies on a branch.
and an altered clipboard ( I wasn't happy how this turned out)
I also made another project for my Renee's Reno's section. These are Kaisercraft Coasters that have been decoarted with Glimmermist, Glimmer Screens and stamps. I quite like the way they turned out. If you want to see how i made these coasters pop over to the 123 Scrapbook forum here. Well that is about it for today.
I have a few more creations yet to share, so hopefully I will be back on by the end of the week (unless it flies past like the last one lol).
Have a great week and take care.

Hi everyone.
How fast are these weeks passing by. I can't even remember where last week went. So I promised in my last post to show a few more of my creations. With the gorgeous Christmas ranges that Kaisercraft released in Q2, I was inspired to start getting festive and make some Christmas decorations. Normally I don't go too overboard in decorations, but this year the festive spirit has well and truly come knocking so I will be decking the halls..so to speak.
First up is these Christmas hangings made using the Dear Santa range. These were really easy to make...believe me they were!
Next is the Kaisercraft Triple Frame Set which I decorated using the lovely Belle range. These frames were a blast to make.
Well that's it for today. Hopefully you have been bitten by the Christmas bug as well. I also have a tonne of layouts to show you, but that will have to wait until another day.
Have a great Tuesday everyone.
Take care

Good Morning everyone!
I hope this Monday finds you fine and well. I am sorry for not blogging for a little while, the blogging bug hasn't really been biting lately. But over the next week I have a few bits and bobs to show you to make up for it. Today I have this little glass frame to share with you all. It was inspired by a project over at Webster's pages.
Aren't these two girls just the sweetest little things ever (biased mummy here lol).
Well that's it for today. I will be back later in the week with a few more creations.
Have a great day.

Hi everyone.
Do you want to make a quick Christmas decoration? This frame that I made as my Renee's Reno's project for 123 Scrapbook is a quick and easy project that you can put together in no time at all. Pop over to the forum to see the instructions.
Don't you just love those papers. The Dear Santa Range from Kaisercraft would have to be my most favourite Christmas range to date. I was so excited when I had the chance to play with it again for my 123 Scrapbook project. I hope you like it. Well that's it for today. The dishes are calling me so I had better go and do them.
Thanks for stopping by.

Dear Santa

Hi everyone.
I hope the week has been treating you all well. Today I can show you the first of my Kaisercraft projects using the stunning Dear Santa range. I fell in love with this range as soon as I saw it, and I have so many things I would like to make with it. Now to just find a bit more time to make them all lol. For this project I decided to try my hand at another altered book to display my favourite Christmas Carols. Although for this one I completely removed all of the pages and was only left with the book cover.
For some more fantastic ideas from the rest of the wonderful DT, check out the Christmas post here on the Kaisercraft Blog.
Have a great day.

Hi everyone.
I hope your weekend treated you well. It was another peaceful weekend here. A little bit of scrapbooking and a lot of doing nothing. Just the way I like it. This month over at 123 Scrapbook it is my turn to do the November Sketch Challenge. Here is the layout that I made for it using the Fancy Pants Christmas magic papers.
Can you believe that the sweet little baby in that photo is turning 5 tomorrow!!!
To see the sketch pop over to the 123 forum, and if you find the time give it a go and you could be in the running to win a $20 store voucher.
Have a great Monday
Take care

Another week

Hi guys!
Well another week has flown past. I can't believe how fast Christmas is approaching. This also means the time is approaching for my DD going to Kindergarten (or in her words "Big School"). Where has the time gone. Everyone tells you it will happen in a blink of an eye and it truly does!
Not much scrapbooking to share, although I have been crafting up a storm. However these are all for DT projects, so I can't show any just yet. Soon my pretties :)
I can share this card that I have made for Kaisercraft though. It uses the very lovely Lilac Avenue range. I was a bit worried about using this range because purple is not my thing, but I have been pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use.
So hopefully I will be back soon with more creations.
Until next time
Take care

Helllooooo!!
How is everyone this fine Tuesday? The weather here is gorgeous. The sun is shining, the sky is blue and the house is clean. I feel so relaxed and happy when the house is clean and tidy. With the two girls though, I can't imagine it will stay this way for very long lol.
Today I thought I would show you my very first Renee's Reno's project that I have made for
123 Scrapbook. It is a Kaisercraft Handbag Tidy, decorated using the yummy Teresa Collins Friendship line.
For the full supplies list and instructions on how to make it, pop over to the 123 Scrapbook forum and check out the Renee's Reno's section.
That's about it from me today. I hope the sun is shining in your neck of the woods and that you have a great Tuesday.
Be back soon.

Hi everyone.
It has been a little while since I have made a post, but it has been such a hectic month. First the flu, then an added surprise of conjuctivitis. Then my sister, BIL and niece visited. I absolutely loved having them here, and wished that they didn't have to leave. I even considered hiding their car keys so they they couldn't leave lol. I have been busy scrapping with my new Kaisercraft Q2 goodies, so i can't share any of them just yet. I am also busy creating for 123 Scrapbook, which I will be able to share soon.
So for today I thought I would post some pics on the rest of the layouts I made for the Q1 release. These layouts are in the Kaisercraft Q2 magazine.
Using the gorgeous Duchess range (a layout of my MIL and FIL wedding)
Using the Offshore range
Using Child's play collection.
That's about it for today wonderful people.
Thank you for stopping by, and I will be back soon with some more creations.

Feeling a bit dressy...

Hi everyone.
Well can you believe it is Thursday already. This week has flown by so quickly. Perhaps that is because I have been in bed for a lot of it with the flu. Just when I think I am getting better, I start to feel a bit crappy again. Tonight I feel like I am going to cough my lungs out, and I look a bit like Rudolph the red nose reindeer.
I have managed this week to make another little Kaisercraft Creation. This one is for this Months Inspired By Challenge. Check it out here:
I loved the gorgeous dresses and the natural feel to the board, as well as the tattoos (which reminded me of the Pennyroyale collection). So I was inspired to make this altered dress form. I have had a few of these dress forms sitting around waiting to be altered, so I am glad I was finally inspired to do one of them. I think I may add a little more to this one later (maybe some more beading and some tulle or netting under the skirt..not sure). Anyway I love her and I hope you do too.
Remember to pop over to the blog and check the challenge out to be in the running to win a Q2 Collection pack of your choice worth $25!!
Have a great night.
